- Collaborating on SVTA Open Caching
Possible Collaborations:

Although there are many companies collaborating on Open Caching, there are also numerous other standards organizations either working with the SVTA or in concert on content delivery interoperability. In some cases, such as with the IETF, there is direct collaboration between the two organizations. Do you know of an organization that can contribute to Open Caching? Let us know.
DVB
The Open Caching Working Group believes that the DVB’s work on Multicast Adaptive Bit Rate (mABR) may have applicability to current and future Open Caching specifications.
ETSI
The Open Caching Working Group believes that ETSI’s work on Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) may have applicability to current and future Open Caching specifications.
IETF
The Open Caching Working Group has been engaged with the CDNi efforts of the IETF for quite some time. The primary objective was to ensure that CDNi specifications reflected Open Caching API-based approaches to CDN functionality and management. The following RFCs reflect the collaboration between the Streaming Video Alliance and the IETF on caching:
-

CDNI Request Routing Extensions (RFC 8804)
Open Caching architecture is a use case of Content Delivery Network Interconnection (CDNI) in which the commercial Content Delivery Network (CDN) is the upstream CDN.
-
